The superplastic insert allows for a more powerful impact force than the rubber insert.

The PICARD mining sledge BlackTecFS 328 (Art. 0032800-1250) has a head weight of 1,250g. It comes with an indestructible 3-component handle. Besides ensuring tremendous stability, the internal fibre-glass core also dampens vibrations. Forged from PICARDs renowned supreme-quality steel, the head is hardened and tempered with great care. Chipping and wear are thus reduced to a minimum.
