Overview

The pliers and cutters in the 49-VDE series are manufactured in accordance with DIN EN/IEC 60900 and the production process is subject to regular inspections by the VDE in order to comply with the high safety standards that are essential when working on power sources. To ensure fatigue-free and concentrated work over a longer period of time, the handles are non-slip and safe thanks to the SoftGripp cover on the one hand and ergonomically shaped thanks to the soft grip zone on the other, making them comfortable to hold. The ChromeFinish pliers are drop-forged from tool steel, special tool steel or chrome vanadium steel and oil-hardened. The cutting edges of all cutting tools are induction-hardened and therefore ideal for work in industry and trade.
